The Sun and Sand Model Railroad Club is dedicated to sharing the joy, skill, and artistry of model railroading with our community.
Club Projects
The club has many active projects to enhance the layout. Some of these are visible, such as new buildings, roads, and terrain. Others are part of the infrastructure needed to control the layout and trains.
Some of the current and recent projects include a major rewiring project to allow DC or DCC operation on each of the tracks. Scenery improvement, and maintenance on the existing layout.
The club has regularly scheduled work sessions where all members are encouraged to participate in projects.
